Student Ambassador

Under the direction of the Director of Admissions & Records, the Ambassador Program combines the most effective recruitment and retention tools at College of the Siskiyous. The Student Ambassador program uses an elite staff of current students to recruit prospective students and assist current students in achieving their goals. Ambassadors are often the first contact prospective students have with College of the Siskiyous; they serve as a very important representative of the college and are expected to be knowledgeable and current on college procedures, functions, and services. Hours and shifts will vary based on need and class schedule.

  • Assisting with High School Recruitment
  • Assistant with SOAR and College events
  • Conduct campus tours to visitors, call admitted students and act as a student representative at off-site recruitment events when needed.
  • Assembly and follow-up with recruitment information packets.
  • Plan campus events.
  • Provide staffing and information in the recruitment on an average of 10 hours a week, asking and answering questions, referring questions to appropriate departments, ensuring the accuracy of information given.
